Looking at the content of modern paints with plastic etc looking at poss alternatives.

Earthborne is coming up excellent but limited colours and dont need breathable.

Little green - pretty good and excellent colours.
Lakeland paints - seem to produce some good options with washable paints/hardy.
Victory - just come across.

The issue I dont want to make is buy a chalky paint that impossible to keep clean in a boys room. Must be cleanable.

Mrs Mercury decided to do some impromptu 'decorating' in the downstairs loo and was duly 'advised' to use a chalk based paint by a local hardware shop, light grey if you will, nice colour but not in a tiny windowless loo. Fast forward about 3 years and giving said loo a minor revamp and a change to white, good lord it took about 6 coats of emulsion to get the job done, the first few coats did nothing, just horrible to have to paint over with.
