    Hi Your be better off giving the walls a good soak(spray bottle-brush) do this as many times as you need to your know when its ready as the wall will be damp to touch 10 mins after soaking it Hope that helps

    Hi Could anybody give me some advice on plastering over horse hair-straw lime plaster.The plaster itself is pretty solid but with quite a few lumps and bumps hollows ect I would of thought seal-glue tight coat of bonding then multi finish? Any advice would be great cheers

    how thick did you apply the hardwall and did you apply a scratch coat first the only way to kill the suction is to keep soaking the wall until the water starts to drip of instead of drawing back,depends what the cracks are like(size-depth)

    Hi, How big is the area you are trying to Plaster? What type of Plaster are you using? You should really 2 coat depending on how big the hollows are?! You will need to PVA the area to kill the suction and prevent cracking, 1 part PVA to 3 parts Water, leave for around 3 hours then apply...
