skimming over lathe plaster

can anyone help i've gone to price up a job in an old cottage ceilings to be skimmed over artex also they want there bathroom skimmed it looks like the old lathe plaster any tips or things to watch out for.

get a coat good coat of pva on it all the day before you'll have less trouble with air bubbles from the artex if you seal it well and more time to get
over the old lime plaster.

Make sure the old lath and plaster is "sound" before you plaster over it Cjam, plus check it out for cracks, and tape over them all.
