Ok I've figure out s&c is sand a cement from what I can gather its a 4:1 ratio 1) how much water do I add to that 2) is it ok to cover existing plaster with s&c as some of the wall is brick but other part have a light Gray looking plaster type material on them which is a bitch to get off...

Ok people, I appreciate all the advice but I a novice I don't know what you mean when you are all using abbreviations What is s&c and what is OCR and what is sbr you all keep repeating these terms but what do they stand for

Not meaning to sound Like a dummy but what is s/c and should I use PvA glue/ water solution beforehand as the stuff on the walls is kinda powdery Col :)

Would it be easier to fit batons straight onto the brick then fix the panels to the batons thus completely missing out the plastering/ rendering part possible

Also because some of the existing cement is kinda powdery. Should I apply a PGA glue/ water solution before any cement first similar to when plastering

If I have an initial drop from the shower base into the waste pipe but then the pipe is almost level from the drop to where it leaves the house out into the drain pipe would that be enough

I understand about the building regs, but where the waste pipe from what used to be the bath enters the wall to the drain pipe outside is about 2 inches above the floor level, I hadn't seein it up until now because it was covered so the bath water must have emptied from the bath and then flowed...
