i am interested in have a stud wall erected boarded and skimmed to make an en suite room maybe 6ft x6ft i was wondering if anyone could give me any idea of how much a plasterer would charge for this so i dont get ripped off thanks chris

i have emulsion painted walls -do i just have to pva before skimming them thanks

when i get consent from the local authorities to proceed with the work should they check what kind of soil and foundation i need its very clay where i live thanks chris

im just worried being an 8 inch wall dampness from the weather will saturate the wall, how would they prevent this chris

hi as well as building above my garage i also want convert the space to a dining room when i have the door way bricked up and a window put in it will have one brick thick 8"skin across the front what happens here regarding plastering how will they plaster what stops the damp coming through...

hi i own a semi with a single garage on the side but the external wall is only single brick what would have to be done to build a cavity wall above and whaT WOULD THE AUTHORITIES expect to be done and how much would i expect a builder to charge me any help would be appreiated thanks chris
