Last night at 03:36 i was woken up by a tamper alarm from the front door micro contact. Entered a master code and stopped with tamper error on keypad.

Thanks, email notifications seem to have started again without doing anything other than going out and arming.
Got a push notifications saying system armed, but they seemed to have stopped for remote access.

Hi, Just got an error updating smart com firware, is the latest version V04.03.01.
Also push notifications and emails have stopped, I think since running the update via the app. Anybody else having this.

Don’t really want to have additional areas. But having easily done this before by omitting zones via wintex, I was wondering if omitting zones could be done via the app with recipes. I can’t currently see how.

Hi,
The 2nd LED on my Smartcom has started flashing, faster than once a second. Noticed after having to reboot the router. Have re booted again but still flashing. The app still seems to be working and the 1st LED is solid.
Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix.

As the message was only there for a very short period I have no way of knowing what it said.
The firmware did update correctly, my guess is that at the end of the update the smartcom rebooted and the app ( which I had open) lost contact and that caused the error.

Thanks for the reply. As I had a error message at the end of the update process I just want to check whether or not the update actually happened. I can’t find what the latest version is on the Texecom site.

Just received an error message during Smartcom firmware update. Please could somebody let me know what the latest version is as cant seem to find this on the Texecom site, so not sure if its upgraded or not.

Yea it learns as E/E, just that I have been led to believe it should be changed to Custom. I don’t understand why. If it auto learns as E/E then isn’t that correct.
