Hi. Going to jump in on this.....
A) You should not be able to stop your pump with your finger! That is a pump with no torque and it needs replacing.
B) Magnetic pull indicates iron oxide; hence the "stick" of a magnet.... This is sludge and a system of this age; will have sludge.
C) if...
How do you plan to control this if the cylinder is on the same level as the heat source? You may need to speak with a HETAS engineer as my knowledge is limited when it comes to solid fuel; but I thought the gravity circuit was provided as a method of heat loss in the event of over temperature...
The C36 should go down to about 0.4 l/min from memory and function correctly (If there's any such thing as a fully functional c36 after a few days of operation).
There is a small 1/2" filter fitted internally to the appliance on the water service pipe work which could be the cause of the...
1) Check you do not have any drips on the "relief" pipe which should be terminated outside somewhere.
2) If you run a hot water tap for 5+ minutes, do you notice your pressure rising at all? Or with the heating on; does the pressure rise more than 0.5bar?
If no to (1) and (2): Inject...
You need 22mm for rainfall shower heads as close to the head as possible... For every bend, twist and turn in the 15mm; you'll loose a tiny amount of flow as the bends create resistance; 22mm will give you a large diameter to absorb them losses.
Ignore the connections to the shower head; they...

First stop; check...

The circumstances could be mitigating in a court, but obviously it cannot be condoned as it is still against the law of the lands to which we reside. I feel that you have put some good arguments across, but have been very pushy in some of your wording that suggests you know more about...
If you're a sole trader or small business then signup for the standards subscription, it makes such a difference to the wallet. And for Joe public, it is part of the gas registration scheme that all RGIs have access to these books and there are hundreds of them, which is yet another reason why...
@gaswizard
Hmmm. Last time I tested LPG, on a domestic it has 5 minutes to stabilise. As such I suggest that it is you that needs to have another read.
@namsag
Sorry dude, looked like a genuine question and it got a genuine answer. And yeah, probably too many domestics on a forum like...
Check the regs; it's all in there and will vary on the type of test and size of carcass... If it comes under IGE/UP1 or IGE/UP1A then it will also vary on your test medium as the majority of carcasses need to be tested with OFN (Nitrogen).
It may also vary your test times as you no longer...
OMG - Not been on this site for a couple of years - This 1 thread has had me in stitches; I've not seen 1 bit of advice justified and read a total load of garbage from both RGIs and a certain someone from London called Mike - All of which has been highly entertaining I must say.
I'm one of...
