Good Morning Experts,
I have an ongoing problem with the vinyl wrap peeling from the edges of kitchen cabinet doors. The vinyl is wrapped over a chipboard base and I think it is impact adhesive bonded and not vacuum wrapped. I have tried to reattach using impact Adhesive as well as superglue...
I am about to attempt to fit an un-patterned carpet to my quite small, light traffic, rectangular porch (1020 mm x 2256mm). The grippers and underlay are in place. The porch has two doorways, one of which is set into one of the long walls, with a rectangular column either side of the doorway...
The main motor appears to be making a clicking grinding noise when running under power. This is most apparent when spinning and stops when the motor power shuts off at the end of the spin, and the drum is free wheeling.
Sounds like the motor, possibly brushes/armature.
Can I get to the...
Thanks Nige F for your prompt response. Unfortunately the website address you gave seems inaccessible. I've tried all reasonable permutations of the address, but no joy.
I have the impression that a Delta Tap may be a commercial brand rather than a technical term. Is this so?

Many thanks for the advice Bab. Considerable force needed to extract the thing but it was well grotty with scale plus a busted O-ring. All greased and reassembled. Job Done.

I am having a problem repairing a cheap monobloc kitchen tap whereby the spout is all but seized up. I have removed the grub screw at the base but cannot persuade the spout to come out. Am reluctant to escalate forces applied until I get advice from you guys out there!
Many thanks,

Is it possible to replace a washer-type kitchen tap valve with a ceramic disc type or does the whole tAp assembly have to be changed?
Many thanks,

Many thanks for your reply Keithwasherman. I have tried cleaning the orifice(s) with a brush but as soon as "the senior management" releases her machine for maintenance I'll get my dentist's mirror out and have a go with a cabletie as you suggest.
Cheers,

The above machine is apt to take in the conditioner during one of the rinse cycles so that when final rinse (which should take in conditioner) there is nothing left in the dispenser tray.
It would appear that the waterjet "control mechanism" is not being correctly positioned by the linkkage...
I did eventually manage to undo the water valve and also discovered that the valve was not a conventional one. In fact it was a ceramic disc valve which is supposed not to leak as the rubber washer does not move and the flow is controlled by a ceramic disc which only needs to move 1/4turn...
Dear Joe90,
Many thanks for your suggestions - have already tried your former proposal (even considered possibility of LH Thread). Have considered chilling brass valve assembly rather than heating tap body. I suppose if the worst comes to the worst I'll have to remove complete hot/cold tap...
In an attempt to replace the washer in my hot water tap I find that I am unable to remove the water valve as the thread is seized solid. Any ideas on how to ease the thread?
Many thanks,
