Looks like mine is riveted on the mechanism so I’ll give it a drill out and go from there. Take it that you just drill a bore hole middle and go bigger till it frees itself??
How do gents. Just wondering if anyone can advise on a garage door lock replacement. It’s a euro half cylinder from what I’ve googled. Need to replace it as no key but don’t know how to remove without a key as the key is used to unlock and remove.
Anyone clues to how to remove as don’t ideally...
I had the same a few weeks ago but always suspicious of cold callers. I’ve googled it and most of the uk shouldn’t have had CWA fitted especially in the coastal areas and being a few mile from the sea that’s me knackered. I have not got a certificate with mine either moved in 18 months ago and...
What I have done before if it’s a spinning collar type is knock the spinner off then hammer a socket on and off you go. If it’s not a spinning collar hammer a socket on and off you go anyway.
Use a 6 side socket preferably impact so it won’t crack you will not get the nut out easy after it.
Hi I have metal gutters on my house and I had a problem and believe to have fixed it with sylglas waterproof tape. It’s a fabric tape that’s incredibly sticky and can use it to line it while being quite cheap. Have a google and can find find it for about £15 from most shops.
Thought so been looking for parts which are pretty much non existent and only other ones I can find at a reasonable price have a broken screen. Seems like be getting a new TV then.
Hello I’ve got a TV which my child decided to throw a toy at it and completely smashed the screen. Half of the screen is now lines with a crack on the front of the panel. Being 1 year old is it repairable and how would I go around. The TV is LG 43 smart LED one.
Thanks.
As it says in the title I have a black thing on my floor. I've lifted the carpet as getting a new one fitted and found this black mess. It feels like melted plastic and my floorboards stop around it. The box in the corner is my gas meter the pipes exit up into the corner.
Anyone have any ideas...
That's what I got told the damage would be but they have said that it's not now. Just trying got get someone round to have a look and see how much I can get stung for.
I've put in a claim on my building insurance for what I know is a leaking gutter. They told me I wouldn't be able to get that fixed as it's "wear and tear" which is fine. Told that I could claim on accident damage one for fixing plaster and damp in bedroom.
So surveyor comes out decides it's...
As it says in the title what trade do I need is it a roof and gutter repair specialist or can a general builder type do.
I'm not after repairs just a quote so my insurance company can decide wether they will pay or not to fix it.
So think I have found a solution to my problem and yet another problem to fix. The leak seems to be coming from my guttering where a join is where there used to be weeds living. I removed weeds mud etc and packed with silicon in a attempt to seal and this failed. I have what I think is finlock...
