Both mowers back in service and working well. I used one to pick up leaves from the lawn and it did a wonderful job. Just needed the blade set at its highest.

I've sharpened both blades on the upper side which to me seems logical. I'll test drive them and see how they perform. One mower also needs new starlock clips for three of the wheels that are dropping off.

Bora TDI From what I've read, the UV protection layer has been eroded by the weather hence the misting of the plastic material. Has anyone used this product? Or perhaps fine grade Wet n Dry then glass polish?

I've been given two electric rotary lawn mowers to repair/service. I noticed on both that the cutting blades are sharpened on the lower side. If sharpened on the upper side of the blade, to my way of thinking, would provide a better cut and help lift the cut stems of grass up to the blower and...

I already have Central Plumbing brand in the CH system. I got a 1L bottle of Flume brand from TS, free, when I got a new rad today. Just wondering are the two brands are mixable so can I top up a bit with the Flume stuff?

Problem solved! The Roko stick was too close to the aerial plug and causing signal interference. I got an 30cm HDMI extension cable (apparently triple shielded) and moved the Roku stick further way from the aerial plug. The aerial cable is WF100 and less than 10m in length to the aerial.

Two of the local factors have been taken over by nationals and they tend to stock a lot of budget. NAPA is certainly popular, albeit a lot of it seems to be 3rd party sourced. The automotive after market is certainly a minefield

Culprit found! Its an AV board fault. With the HDMI Roku powered up, the Freeview off the aerial pixelates. If I unplug the Roku, the TV goes clear. Roku TV is spot on so when I want to watch Freeview, I'll simply have to unplug the Roku.

Perhaps the car industry may adopt polyurethane as standard in the future. I saw a YT video where polyurethane bushings are fitted to a Bora like mine and it seemed so much easier. Having said that, the puller tool I used was not a spot on fit and caused the bushings to twist a few times before...

What's everyone's preferred choice for bushings may I ask? I just picked up a Febi kit that has left/right rubber bushes and bolts for my Bora TDI.. One of the fellas on a VW forum says he fits Powerflex polyurethane bushes. There's also PSB.
