I have not refused to answer. This place is not where I live but a flat which my parents will be staying at. I just need the time to go there and measure up. That's all.

Fridge freezer power cord not long enough.

Is that relevant? The cabinet is flush with the wall. I couldn't even measure the depth unless I pulled the appliance out literally no space. This thing looks like made to measure. All I need to know is how can I plug the new fridge freezer which has its cord at the bottom of 1.5 metres to the...

Fridge freezer power cord not long enough.

Because there is no space hardly. Looks like these cabinets were made for the previous fridge freezer which are separate units. The intention is to remove the shelf in the middle and fit one standing fridge freezer

Fridge freezer power cord not long enough.

Single extension probably won't fit around the back. The sockets seem up high close to the ceiling. The main power cord from appliance will not stretch. Any solutions. Moving the plug to lower is not really am option as not enough space. It is one of those fitted cabinets with appliance...

Isolation valve that connects cold supply to kitchen sink tap?

It doesnt seem to be leaking from the screw though. Where the pipe for the cold supply enters the isolation valve is where it is leaking (appears to be) and then when i turn the valve, it stops!. So the question is, can an isolation valve leak if on ? and not leak if in the stop position ? Or...

Isolation valve that connects cold supply to kitchen sink tap?

Can the isolation valve leak and when turn to the off position actually stop water ? When its in the on position it leaks a lot as you can see water trickling down the side of pipe.

    Condensate pipe

I checked it. And the only place it was leaking is where that condensate pipe joined. We have tested a dozen times now and not one drop comes from there. I think I probably over did it with silicone lol. But I have painted it black now with weatherproof seal thing. It actually looks part of...

    Condensate pipe

Hi Well I didn't notice a block when I pulled out the old silicone. So it seemed to have a good run for 5 years. I guess I will do something if that leak comes back or if the usual wear and tear of the lagging happens. For now I think it will be ok. But yeah the pipe. Does go on and turn down...

@PrenticeBoyofDerry : Sorry I missed your post and only just saw it. Well I replaced it with what was there originally. I bought this http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p48736 And then someone told me its the wrong one as its foam and snow can sit on it or rain can soak it. Even though the same...

    Condensate pipe

Hi guys thanks for answering @dilalio : Yes its my own home. I doubt there is warranty on the boiler as it was installed 5 years ago when I moved in. And yes the guy at the time issued me a certificate. I just wanted things done properly. And no I have never known it to freeze. Probably I just...

    Condensate pipe

Good evening all, Been reading a lot on these forums, and thought it would be a good time to register as I would also like to share my input on other things etc. One question I have is. Why does a condensate pipe have to be a minimum of 32mm ? In 2010 plumber who installed my new boiler...
