    Replacing old Boiler costs.

I think both he and internet quotes are in the same area of the £3500 I have been talking about and it's which boiler chosen putting it up or down. He as seen what he will have to tackle, he was very pleasant and chatted with me and we covered the points you have kindly given me views on. He...

Yes I've engaged a very local boiler man and he came to do a survey and quotes yesterday and will be fitting this pipe internally.

    Replacing old Boiler costs.

Those are the things that are in the fixed price I quoted for a combi boiler at £3500, but TRV's if ordered were £40 each extra. The neighbour who had just a straight swop of a combi last week the man came first thing and was gone before lunch and only boiler was changed. So doubt a flush was...

    Replacing old Boiler costs.

" Yes that's the point of this post in doing research. For like with like replacement it won't be 3 times out from my £1000 'ish. The internet suppliers quotes have shown that Combi would be £3500 for a known popular make with all the changes to the system included. So my £1000 'ish for just...

    Replacing old Boiler costs.

Thanks this explain my neighbours with the extra pipe. https://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/heating-advice/frozen-condensate Sorry if I'm a bit slow, but I'm not understanding why some boilers have it and majority do not. My neighbours house is exactly like mine and I would prefer to avoid a 4+...

Sorry hadn't realised Combi were Condensing I thought two different types. Well the OP is to help me decide on a direct change of regular type or a move to combi/condensing. The answers have pointed me in the direction of a combi. This means from answers double the cost and rearrangement of...

Yes have just tried BOXT and similar sites Unknown to me names are from £2500 for a combi and removal cylinder and feeder tanks and rearrange ed piping, with the known names around £3500 all in fixed prices. With some clarification if Cylinder/feed tanks are taken away. One firm wants full...

    Replacing old Boiler costs.

Would I be right in thinking changing an older type boiler with a new boiler of the old way of doing central heating to supply and fit would be £1000'ish? Now the adverts that appear in my Facebook are all talking about condensing boilers and saving on gas but look as if would cost £3000 to...

    Electric Meter

Technically yes, but he can't read them to phone them in. 3 of us have tried too and failed. The account is now almost £2k in credit from the providers estimates and a solicitor letter was being sent to Provider last week.
