In addition to possibly reducing my cm707 setting down to 3 cycles per hour (once I find out if back end rot is serious) should I increase the min boiler on time to say 3mins to help reduce the sensitivity of the on/off switching of the stat. Sorry to be thick.

Condensation is your biggest problem . The use of a Humidistat is your best option. I have one fitted and have not had any problems since installed (22yrs). You could always mop the floor after use to assist drying. To stop condensation you need heat and ventilation or extraction.

Thank you for your help. Do you think that the valve/system might be wired incorrectly, as I don't understand why the valve motor is still energised after all seems to be swithed off?

Please can anybody advise why when my wall stat and cylinder stat plus programmer are all showing off ie not calling for heat, the 3 way valve keeps buzzing. The main power though is of course still turned on to run the programmer and frost protection if required Thank you
