out rads are not getting hot they are just warm
all rads in the house are the same and are warm all over not just at the top/bottom.
i cannot sem to work out why tihs would be
i have bled them all made sure the bioler is a at pressure by re filling and also re charging the expansion...
right seems like i fixed it
i got this guide to re charging the expansion vessel
//www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37170
went and bought a pump with a gauge and the pressure is now just over a 1bar when not in use and just over 2 when on.
so it looks like the vessel did...
there is just one knob and water is coming through its not got much pressure to the water though doesnt blast out
i know this as i turned the knob with the loop off to make sure it was working.
so what about the expansion vessel easy to refill??
i have a baxi he80
when the boiler is off its sits below .5 bar.
hot water and heating do work and when switched on the pressure rises to about 1.5 bar.
i have tried repressuring using the filling loop but its dosent seem to have any effect on it at all just stays below a bar never...
nice thread just a quick as i now have this issue
do you need to turn the house water off or just isolate the mains form the boiler with the cold water inlet valve
and which tap under the boiler is the cold water inlet as there are 3 taps which can be turned
we had a guy out for a dirrent fault who mentioned that the o ringg would need replaceing in the assembly if it leaked as it has previouly leaked from there but then stopped
is this the correct part http://www.sparestraders.co.uk/product/baxi-248065-diaphragm-3-way-valve/
the leak is coming from the 3 way valve assembly i have heard the is a service kit for this but cannot find any part numbers can any one help
also is it an easy job to take on yourself
whats the best way to check the APS?
i am not going to just buy on a whim but i think its likly to be that.
seems as though many poeple habe had a new APS fitted and still doesnt fix the issue
