baxi he 80 leaking water

the leak is coming from the 3 way valve assembly i have heard the is a service kit for this but cannot find any part numbers can any one help


also is it an easy job to take on yourself

I have come across this problem with this boiler plenty of times. Invariably it is caused by poor install and poor maintenance. Best to get a repair specialist to check the whole system.
 
If you don't remove the cause of the problem, it will be back before you know it.

I went to one of these leaking from just about every orifice. It turned out the schrader valve had failed in the pressure vessel and everything was being pressured to 3 bar. I new valve from local garage (£1) repressurised to 1 bar, tightened a few things. No more leaks.

Hi all,

Sounds like the DHW gland nut is passing water (common fault) unless the main part of the DV is weeping from a perished o ring. A picture is helpful, or an exact description of where the water is leaking out ;) Get an RGI to have a look at it, simple fix....
