    Lavender in outside pot

Many thanks. Definitely has drainage holes. Just my luck I didn't get the "Brexit Lavender" and then managed to drown it in a heatwave.

    Lavender in outside pot

Hi Know how much you like my dumb questions. This lavender was planted about six-eight weeks ago and now seems to be dying. Unfortunately can’t recall the exact species purchased. Have been watering and adding plant food consistently. (Since before hot spell) Also increased frequency in last...

Screw hole covers for upvc frames

Thanks. Whenever I search for the exact size, I still return covers which are too small or too big. The hole is 1/4” and the diameter of the cover is just over 1/2”.

    Lillies and fuchsias?

Hi First image is fuchsia bush in front garden. I’d it normal to see dead and developed (somewhat?) flowers on the same branches? Second image is lilies in back garden border. They only flowered for a few weeks, so guess they must have been Asiatic variety? (Can’t recall what we bought) I...

    Repainting conservatory windowsill

Hi We have two area where paint has cracked and flaked away, exposing bare wood on windowsill. (Photos included) It’s a shame as only two areas affected. Should I just remove loose paint coating, sand, prime and repaint etc? Jyst worried the cracks will extend and expose much bigger areas...

Holes suddenly appearing in hydrangea leaves

Update Have sprayed both plants with some bug repellent, including underside of leaves. Will monitor and report back. Product doesn’t mention frequency. Would you advise daily?
