    Openreach - Section 40 notice

I have served Openreach with a "Section 40" notice to remove a pole from my garden that has been confirmed has no Wayleave. Openreach have no responded to say that they cannot remove the pole because it would be "too complex of solution to try and carry out"! Can they do that? Anyone know...

New Extension - Cert for building Regs required

Yes! Just to update, as suggested I phoned planning a claimed innocence. They said they would accept an EICR. It was a bit of a challange, the first 2-3 sparky's I called wouldn't do an EICR on work they hadn't done, but i eventually found someone who peformed an EICR. Got cert and gave it to...

Greenstar 30i Boiling loosing pressure (wierd)

Just a quick update... The Boiler is now fixed. It was the expansion vessel (and other parts needed replacing). The problem was caused by a massive amount of sludge... in fact when the old expansion vessel was taken out despite it being empty of water it was like lifting a Gold Bar! I am...

If it is the vessel... isn't that a bad sign that it suddenly went without the system being touched?

Greenstar 30i Boiling loosing pressure (wierd)

Funny you should say that, before today I would have said no but during today I noticed that heating went from a standing 1.9 Bar (overnight pressure test) to 3.5 bar 20 mins after the heating went on... obviously the PRV was dripping at that point. I don't know if that is total coinsidence...
