Have moved it to floors, I've got the hang of it now,

one year old Firefox 8 , had new thermo coupler fitted, engineer out three times, still cutting out,,,stayed on for about three months recently, then started cutting out again after seconds or maybe a few mins,,,at my wits end,,,, supplier doesn't want to know,,,,,

garage conversion being done, should we have put fibreboard over our insulation, which is 25 mm celotex between 25 mm battens, then laminate recommended underlay and then the laminate,,,

Old but not dead,,,, sorry it's in wrong place, I find the site quite hard to navigate,took me ages to get this far...... The insulation is between the battens.

It was a garage with concrete floor with tiles, regs needed insulation, so 25 mm celotex between 25 mm battens, then laminate underlay and then laminate,,, have left small gap all around, I feel there should have been a firmer base to lay the underlay on. Then the laminate,

Laminate is springy now..do i need to take it up and put fibreboard down then the underlay then the laminate.......

Keeps cutting out.had new thermo coupler a few months ago. Fire is only a year old.

Still not sorted... Plumber has put new valve and flue reducer. Turn it on .pilot comes on. Put it on high. And it all goes out after about 30 secs.

Pilot lights but when i turn stove on .it goes out straight away..... Help.....

Pebbledash bungalow , thinking of covering it with cedral boarding, can I put insulation in first as long as I leave an air space,,,, also does anyone know the price per sq mtr of the boards, Thankyou.

Any ideas for tiling over tiles on a wet room floor. Would resin do.

It's a one off,no mortgage,we have an i dependant surveyor coming out soon,will see where we go from there,think we will end up doing the work,although it will be a big job. We're wondering if it was advertised differently by an agent who deals with mmc ,or unusual properties would do better...

New build bungalow, single skin 150mm timber frame,internal walls,15mm dense plasterboard external 18 mm ply batten and counter batten for Everest render board and Weber thin coat render.150mm of full fill insulation between studs. It's on a raft foundation, the problem arose when a buyer sent...

Built in 2011. Timber frame. Well insulated etc,good epc. But no mortgage co will even consider it until it's brick or block.wall thickness is 91/2 ins. Should be 12 at least. Not happy :cry: :cry: :cry:

we have to brick or breezeblocks the external walls of our build ,2011 completion. As it's not mortgageable apparently. Will I have to remove the render board first, or can I block outside this. Also how easy is it if I have to extend the overhang of the roof. Any advice will be appreciated.
