Thanks for all your comments - we seem to have created some controversy about system boilers. So, to clarify, the overflow pipe is one that runs to the outside of the house. I guess that means we'll need it servicing to attend to the valve? Ginadavid

We have a wall-mounted Baxi central heating boiler. The oveflow is constantly dripping (more than dripping actually). How can this be cured?

Very foolishly, I have cut through the cable to my pond pump (the power was not on at the time!) at a point where it is underwater. Are there suitable waterproof connectors or is there some sort of waterproof sealant I could use to make a good repaired join?

Thanks for all these helpful comments. It's a Halstead Buckingham BF80 about 6 or 7 years old. The system is (I think) a Y frame and it's fully pumped. It would be mounted on a new wall at the end of the conservatory (so the flue would be outside) and the pipes can go straight up to link with...

Our balanced flu boiler has to be moved when our new conservatory is built other wise the flu would be within the conservatory. Can it be relocated into the conservatory? As we live in a bungalow there is no alternative obvious space for it and we are reluctant to invest in a new one.
