A little update. Now managed to get the door station working through all the help from this forum. You are correct and this door station does have to be plugged into a Poe switch and not into the back of the NVR. I’m not entirely happy with the door station and wish I just put a camera there...

I hope you’re right. Secureiam remotely took control of my computer, and said the same thing as you. I’ve ordered a switch but ordered the wrong one I didn’t realise It had to be a POE switch as the first one didn’t power up the camera. It’s arriving today, so will try tonight.

When you say doorbell password, I never set a password for it, I take it if you double click on the IP address it should then it takes you to the hik vision Site where I set a password but I’ve never got that far.

Also when looking at the nvr details. Enhance SDK service port, ipv6 address, ipv6 gateway, ipv6 prefix length are filled in. Should I be putting any of these into the doorbell ip details ?
