I have recently had my kitchen refitted including sockets etc. Previously i had a sky box which is used as a digibox but could receive whatever channel is on in the lounge on my Sky + box... I have now brought a new Freeview telly but i'm not receiving a signal so i connected the Sky box back...

Hope someone can help....I have had to turn off the power to replace light fittings and now the shower won't heat up.. Is this just a coincidence, because the power was off or something unrelated?

Hi, I have bought a wooden fire surround second hand, the chrome rings with clips are in the underside of the mantle and i have the wire with transformer and connectors but there doesn't appear to be a way of fastening the bulbs into the chrome rings, can anyone tell me whats missing......

I have been packing the joists under some 'bouncy' floorboards and have found a wasp nest which is about 3 feet long. It being the off season now will the wasps return next year or is it now a dead nest?

I have just bought a second hand wooden fire surround that is fitted with 2 downlights under the mantel. There are no fittings to connect to the electrics. Can i buy the neccesary fittings so that i can plug the lights in? Thanks

Can anyone tell me why my walls weren't re-plastered straight to the floor. Skirting has to go on yet.
