Hope someone can help....I have had to turn off the power to replace light fittings and now the shower won't heat up.. Is this just a coincidence, because the power was off or something unrelated?
What type, model, make of shower is it?
If it's an electric one, does the neon at the isolator or power on indicator at shower light up?
Normally replacing a light fitting would not prevent the shower from working.

Likely to be the thermal cut out that has failed then, don't think this is available as a spare and may have to replace the whole engine.
If I am correct, for what it's worth replace the whole unit.
