    I just bought a couple of these and the instructions say to replace the battery undo the screws to the battery compartment at the rear. The only screws I can see are holding the hook on. Is this the one where the battery is?

    Another thing I thought of is that if someone leaves a message, the answer machine pings constantly until the message is taken, and as I live in a close environment with my neighbours, it could cause a problem if it pings until I come home, and I can't see a setting to turn the ping off.

    Just had a new combi boiler fitted and going away for a few days holiday. I know I can set the heating to holiday mode, but do I need to do anything about the hot water. I always turn the stopcock off and turn the gas supply off when I go away. Is this still the correct thing to do please?
