I have a PIR light which has stopped working despite replacing the bulb, so I reckon the sensor is at fault. I want to replace it and as you know all the cables are attached to the new light. However, all my wiring is in place and runs under trunking to the power point. Would I be able to use my present wiring and connect it to the new light please?

What?

Are you saying your new light fitting is a sealed unit with a flex already fitted to it?

IF SO, if you don't want to disturb your existing wiring, you could use an outdoor junction box - a Whiska box may do.
