    They seem to be to heavy for top hung, side hung would be better for weight distribution and safer for security. Holes would be easy filled and not visible by and large. I thought about a window restrictor but I can't get one for top hung with is concealed and offers decent security .

    I have a big bay window , two top hung sash windows and the centre fixed. How easy is it to switch the two top hung windows to side hung. The windows are to big to be top hung and just close under their own weight , and there's no restrictors so you can open them wide open from the outside...

    I've moved into a new build, on the Living room wall (same as master bedroom) their is an aerial outlet socket . I've plugged TV into it but theirs no signal. I've opened box on wall and it's wired up. Where would the lead , well lead to. There isn't an aerial in the loft . How would I trace...

    Man hole cover not square

    I'm laying a patio, which has two access chambers to pave around. They are 12inch square covers, they are not sitting square to the house, nor are they level. Can you dig around them and move the cover to get them square and also make them level ?

    Best plaster to use?

    To scratch get a only wooden float or a price of plywood about 4 x6 stick an old handle on it. tap some nails trough one end until the points just show through. works great for putting scratch on.

    I've seen condensation cause some problems to. New under felt, new cap sheet. don't use clouts use a lot of felt adhesive .

    Once it's all together it should be solid. shiplap is way better than overlap. not sure what's wrong. all sheds I've put together from flat pack I tend to give them extra strength to. as mentioned. it's all about triangles.

    Old school would be "Browning" scratch then finish. unibond block work. I would unibond overnight then again in the morning when it feels sticky put browning on. next day put finish.
