Can someone be kind enough to tell me what fitting(s) are required to connect the basin taps in the pictures which show the taps and the underside of the basin - what fittings go here?. The person who bought this got it in a sale and did not get those vitalparts Any advice ofwhat and where to...

I have a CH system that has been losing pressure every couple of months or so for some time. A few months ago this got worse. There were no signs of leaks on the ceilings so I assumed it must be something under the ground floor floorboards.
The system became very noisy and needed topping up...
Thanks a lot for this. Turning the power off and the lever is loose and I can compare with the zone valve for hot water, which had tension. Thanks also for the diagnostic help, especially to know that the least likely thing is the valve body jammed and I hope it's just a change of actuator...
Thank for this. I looked at a wiring diagram (S plan, I guessed as I have 2 zone valves) and figured out, but I appreciate the confirmation. Looks like I changed the theremostat for nowt.
Is it a case of replacing the valve altogether? Or can anything else be done?
Thanks again
My CH system has an (old) Ideal Classic heat-only RS boiler, Grundfoss pump, hot water tank, two Honeywell zone valves, Honeywell ST6400A timer and Honeywell CM67 room thermostat.
(The zone valves were recommended and fitted after problems with a three-way valve.)
Everything worked fine until...
I wonder if anyone has seen this type of installation before and can give an explanation.
I moved to a new office last summer and this winter noticed that the radiator in my room was cold. It was covered by a metal cover which I lifted off to discover that the rad was installed back to front...
There is a standard boiler located on the ground floor extended kitchen, the hot water tank, pump, motorised mid-position valve are in a cupboard on the first floor.
There are 4 rads on the ground floor and 4 on the first. The loft has one rad in the room and a heated towel rail in the loft...
I have just had a Loft Extension in my home and part of the deal was to extend the Central Heating into the Loft room and Bathroom/Toilet. One rad in the new room and a heated rail in the Bathroom.
I've heard that this can be problematic and now the heating doesn't work at all. The plumbers...
I have fitted one of these myself to create an understairs toilet and it has worked fine for years. One important thing to do is de-scale it regularly because the build up of scale can cause problems. Have you tried descaling it?
The new Sanitops are almost identical to mine (which is over 10...
My central heating has worked fine for years, but recently became troublesome because the heating never seemed to switch off when the room stat went off. When the HW stat is calling for heat, the rads also get hot. I changed the room stat and the HW tank stat (both were very old). This improved...
I have a GCH system that has worked fine for many years. It has a basic boiler, Hot water tank, Grundfoss pump, Honeywell contol and a Honeywell Digital Programmable Room Thermostat. No radiator thermostatic valves.
Everything worked fine for ten years with no changes to the system. The...
