    hi everyone, just wondering what you pros do when you have to re-skim a wall that has been painted with eggshell paint?? i've had quite a few painted walls to do recently, i rang british gypsum for advice and they said that if it's gloss or matt paint it's fine - just use thistle bond-it...

    pva vs wickes bonding agent...???

    hmmm, which to use on a painted wall prior to skimming...!!??? should i pva the painted wall (1:5) a couple of times then skim when tacky, or should i use wickes bonding agent? OR, to be extra sure, should i pva the wall to seal it (cos there are some crumbly bits) THEN use wickes bonding...
