    removing thick asphalt layer from flat roof .

    I have had a pitched roof fitted , and I am now in the process of removing the old asphalt fitted on top of the existing flat concrete roof . There are twelve layers of asphalt altogether and I am having a tough time removing them .What is the best way of cutting through the thick asphalt ?
