Extension lead for small solar fountain/pump?

Sureitsoff? - love the name- I will see if I can work out how to post pictures. I can't but think it can't be THAT difficult! I can solder, and yes, it, this bloody pump, runs off barely any volts. Ironically, I work with lots of volts at work, linear accelerators, millions of volts. But a solar...

Extension lead for small solar fountain/pump?

Hmm, I think that end (which sits in the pond) is moulded. Although I'd agree that replacing the entire cable would be a good idea!

Extension lead for small solar fountain/pump?

Hi, I could if I knew what sort of flex and what sort of joiners to buy! I could actually do the job, but I'd be guessing at the kit!

Extension lead for small solar fountain/pump?

I have a small fountain in my garden pond driven by a solar panel. The lead is only 2m long so I’d like to extend it, but the one I got the connectors are too big (for a grown-up solar panel, not a 2” x 3” one!) it’s a Solar Pump BP250, 4.5~12v.

Laying brick path across lawn- what base?

I want to lay a brick path across a lawn, the bricks are paving bricks, the end result can look quite rustic! I’m going to dig down 150mm, (the bricks are 60mm deep); lay and level (and tamp) base material, then lay the pavers, finally finishing with brushing dry ‘mortar’ mix between the...

Can anyone tell me which tape I should get to repair a tear in a smooth vinyl cover (outdoors use)? Gorilla tape, maybe? Thanks

How to remove and replace this bit of piping!

OK, I have managed to get the pipe off- but needless to say, it's impossible to put a replacement bit of pipe over the fitting- it won't physically stretch that wide! Am now on the look out for tubing with an external diameter of 19mm. Think I may have to cut the existing pipe, insert a length...

How to remove and replace this bit of piping!

Thanks. It's something most owners of this thing end up having to do because a non-return valve in the system fails. So what should be a 5p repair cost £200. So we buy an in-line NRV for £10, but to avoid stress on the spa wall, you need to elongate the other two pipes a bit.

How to remove and replace this bit of piping!

It's inside the controls for an inflatable spa. I want to remove that bit of piping and replace it with a longer one. My problem is the grey end bit is firmly wedged in- the pipe (which is 'aquarium hose' so has a bit of flex in it) has been stretched around the fitting to get a snug fit. Is it...

    Screwing into a uPVC conservatory

Can I screw one of these onto the corner upright of my uPVC conservatory, well clear of the glazing, to hold up 1 end of a light-weight 1kg shade sail? The other two ends will be into wooden fence posts. Thanks.

    Concept 6 alarm continuous whine!

After having to repeatedly turn our mains power off and on, the remote keypad for the burglar alarm (that isn't set) began to emit a continuous, high pitched, annoying whine. Entering the code makes no difference; there is a red light on, on it; the wired in unit in the loft has no lights on at...

How do I repair this drain grille surround?

I'll dig it all out (take the opportunity) but that might help. Thanks

How do I repair this drain grille surround?

In the middle of my driveway The mess in the bottom is leaves etc in the drain, and the fragments are the broken up remains of the original lip which has broken having been driven over for many years so now the grille wobbles dangerously, the postie could do himself a nasty injury! (It's hazard...
