I’m literally installing a new full-size dishwasher in place of the slimline. The socket is behind the slimline, and unfortunately is about 2mtrs away and the cable is 1.8mtrs!!

I have a single recessed socket that need to be moved for a dishwasher.. so I’m making it surface blanking it and using a contractor pack to move. Any idea how I make the single socket surface? Only think I can think of is using a surface pattress and adapting it? As I need knockouts.

Hi all, Tiler said we didn’t need to silicone round the toilet and pedestal, or tile to skirting, as it discolours.. Should I just run some white silicone around it all? TIA Mark

Hi all, How do I take off a currently installed chrome rad and replace with black ? I will obviously also be replacing the TRV valve. It’s 1200x500.. if I buy another will the brackets be able to replace the current bracket positions, as 2 are in tiles. Thanks all!! Never done any...
