Thanks John. What I like about your suggestion is that there are local suppliers who have displays as well as samples. Much easier to deal with. Also, being laminated onto ply will help make things quicker too.

Hi everyone. A quick question. When you boys plaster, is there a clever way to protect things like adjacent paintwork or UPVC window frames from plaster smears (especially those really thin film ones) , which can be a real pain (no pun intended) to remove after the plaster has set?
My friend lent his trowel to someone who returned it caked with dry plaster. This can be cleaned by soaking overnight in a mixture of baking soda and water. Worth remembering I think
