Hi. I'm having my bathroom refurbished. There's nothing wrong with the shower cubicle but the tray will need to be replaced as it is, as you chaps might say, "buggered"! While the cibicle is dismantled, what's the best way of cleaning the glass and brushed metal frame so it looks like new? I have sourced replacement seals (golly, they're not cheap!!).

The usual household chemicals don't seem to be as effective as one would wish.

You'd be best off asking a household cleaning forum - plumbers and bathroom installers wouldn't generally get involved with cleaning up old stuff

Many household chemicals are not suitable for shower enclosures,a sponge, dilute washing liquid and plenty of elbow grease on a regular basis keeps the enclosure sparkling.

consider changing the enclosure, bling up your bathroom.
