I've taken it off the wall and it's right next to the control panel, but it still won't connect. It's like the bell box needs to be wiped as it doesn't seem to be sending a signal to ask to pair with the panel.
I've successfully removed and paired another detector to the panel so it's not an...
I have deleted the sounder from the panel as it wasn't picking it when I put the batteries back in. Having done that I can't get it to learn again to the panel.
I've needed to replace the batteries in my bell box and it didn't automatically relink to the panel.
I followed the suggestion to unlearn the device, but now I can't get the panel to learn the bell box.
I've tried:
1) Remove batteries from bell box for 30 mins
2) Reattach new batteries with...
Hi,
I'm trying to replace the batteries in my Odyssey bell box. The instructions for the manual say I need to enter the engineer hold-off mode by doing one of two things:
a) activating and deactivating the strobe 3 times in 30 sections.
b) pressing the omit key when in the bell test menu.
The...
I have a Texecom Premier Elite 64W system and use a number their microshock wireless detectors on my windows.
Over the last week, two of the detectors have given us what appear to be false alarms overnight after the system has been set overnight. The issue seems to occur after a long time of...
Thanks for this.
I've tried:
1) Generating the code and using it straight away. I've tried getting it from the engineer and master user accounts.
2) Using the texecom connect app on multiple android and ios devices.
3) All the devices have a perfect connection. I've tried both wifi and mobile...
Thanks a lot for these helpful replies. Following a conversation and screen share with Texecom support where they applied the alarm panel serial number I've been able to get the Smartcom to link to their servers and it is now generating an app code.
However, when I put the code into the app on...
Hi,
I've been having lots of problems setting up my Texecom Connect Smartcom. Some of them were caused by a problematic Vodafone router... but not I'm having a problem getting the app code.
I was able to get past "no carrier" messages using this help sheet...
I tried changing the fuse, but it did not work.
I got a new control panel yesterday and fitted it. It is all working great and my outside bell box is working great too!
Thanks for the help,
Thanks for that. I tested the control box with a meter and I was not getting 12V across the 12V and 0V feeds from the control box. The bell, stobe and tamper feeds were all working, but not the power feed. Solution: new control box! I've bought one tonight and I'm going to try and fit it...
Thanks very much for your advice.
Neither the bell or the stone sound when I try this.
I think it must be related to the bell box thinking remote power is removed.
Any thoughts on why I am seeing the right LED flashing? That is indicating the hold off mode active and remote power...
My bell box was not working on our alarm so I replaced it with a new one - same model as before. I have a Veritas 8 control unit (date is 1999 on the PCB)
I matched all the wiring to the last one and have followed the wiring diagram.
When I switch the battery (left LED starts to flash) on...
