    Fitting tap isolators with pre-roughened threads

    Hi all, I bought these tap isolators: https://www.grohe.co.uk/en_gb/angle-valve-1-2-22037000.html So how do I fit the pre- roughened ends? I assume they go into wall plate elbows fitting inside my stud wall. Do you put PTFE tape on them (and how many windings should you use)? Cheers

    There’s about 2 mm gap around the tails. I can point the end of the tails closer together but can’t really push them closer together at the tiles to ensure they remain parallel.

    foxhole - the pipes wont line up with the t bar without using s union connectors. But how do i fit these on copper tails ? Ive seen fast fix brackets on the internet but these will only work if the tails are 150mm apart.
