Thanks for all the replies guys really helpful!
The bit I am struggling with is the need to pump both hot and cold. The hot pressure is low no doubt about that so need to pump that. However the cold pressure in the shower and the taps is much higher than the hot. So not sure if that needs pumping?
Thanks for the replies guys!
I have added some pics below to show what the loft has.
I assume the green is the hot water and the one on top in the black is the cold water?
Does this confirm I need to pump both hot and cold?
Thanks!
Thanks mate
Would this still be the case if I dont currently have a problem with the cold water pressure? If i put cold only the shower pressure is fine. Just when I switch to hot the pressure drops off.
Hi guys
Just wanted to check in to see if the above linked pump would do the job for me?
We have 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen (no problem with pressure in the kitchen just on the 1 shower in the bathroom).
Thanks.
Thanks for the replies again guys

How do I find out if I need positive head or positive and negative?

Hi guys
So my upstairs radiators always get warm/hot even when the central heating is turned off.
We called a plumber in the summer who turned the upstairs radiators off at the valves... However this resulted in the downstairs radiators getting hot instead! Something that never used to happen...
hi guys
So my upstairs radiators used to always get hot even when the central heating was turned off.
We called a plumber who said this was the case as we have a very old boiler / system.
His solution was to turn all the upstairs radiators off at the valves and then turn them back on in the...
Hi guys
I have been living in my current house for a bit over 3 years now. The wife and I have both been working during this time and very occasionally had an issue where our hot water would run out (not run cold but just no water would come out the hot water tap).
However my wife is no...
Hi guys
We have a Conventional boiler which is over 15years old with a storage tank in the loft.
We have had an addition to the family and find the hot water has been running out almost on a daily basis (not ideal!).
As such I am thinking its time to move to a Combination boiler which...
Hi guys
We moved into a new house and the dishwasher which was working before we moved in seems to not like us very much!
Not sure why it isn't working. I thought maybe the water was turned off to it but the valve under the sink seems to be turned on (pic below)
Any other ideas?

We are looking to strip the wallpaper and carpet soon and tile the walls and floor.
I think in the meantime I will look to keep the window slightly open at night. As I do not think there...
