Thanks for your response ianmcd. I think your right. It didn`t say RF601 and there was no radio mast symbol in the lcd display. I have now returned it to B&Q and will try to source another from elsewhere.

It says on the box Digistat+ 30002 ( no RF601 ) I`ve noticed on the display screen there isn`t a little symbol on the left of a radio mast but it shows it on the box. Could it be the new one is just not working properly?

Had to buy a new Digisat+ 30002 room thermostat as the old one became faulty. The new one will not "pair" with the SCR receiver next to the boiler( Vaillant ECO Tec). I have followed the installation guide over and over again but the SCR is not receiving any signals from the new thermostat. Can...

Thanks Agile. Whats your opinion on second hand refurbished parts ( with a 12 month guarantee ) ? They are much cheaper than new ones.

Hi Tony, I drained the water out using the drain cock on the C.H. flow pipe on the underside of the boiler. The leak is oviously from inside the boiler itself, its just dripping out the bottom of the casing on the left hand side. :?
