Cheers. Still not sure why the issue with it cutting out only started in the last day 6 weeks. Before that it only lost power when the stop/start kicked in.

The new stereo has gone off when the auto stop start kicked, and come back on when the engine starts back up again, ever since it was fitted. The issue with it going off at random now has been happening for the last couple of months. What does the auxiliary feed do?

No the preset stations all remain as normal after it happens. The faceplate isn’t removable.

@foxhole Not sure to be honest, I’ll try and find out. The auto stop/start works ok. Is the battery a potential cause of the issue?

Thanks all. Much appreciated and very helpful. I think like you said if you take it to a decent garage/mechanic they should/would know what needs doing. Especially if you tell them how many miles you’ve done since the last service. This puts my mind at rest. Thanks again.
