thanks there are no fault codes and the thermostat comes on at the allotted times but the boiler doesn't respond to the request

the display shows 0 as the heating does not come on at all. No problem when hot water is requested and display shows water temp. No problem with power

I have a Ferroli optimax combi boiler and recently the hot water temperature has started to vary. Running any tap will see hot water which then turns lukewarm and eventually back to hot again. The central heating works fine. Any suggestions gratefully received

thanks for the reply Sorry I should have said that as well as the expansion vessel in the boiler we have an external one on the system so it shouldn't be that should it? Wouldn't this mean that water escaped via the PRV? thanks for your help
