Hi all, In my mum's house the bedrooms have ceiling light pendant fittings with GU10 lamp holders. The other rooms have standard BC lamp holders. It seems that GU10 GLS bulbs are not widely available so looking to get the bedroom pendants changed to BC. But before doing that just wondering why...

Can anybody advise how to adjust the flush volume on Geberit UP200 concealed cistern? We have one fitted recently, and when using the short flush button it stops flushing pretty much as soon as the button is released. Another that was fitted approx 6 years ago flushes much longer on short flush...

Finally, success here with our W827 as well. I removed the brush holder module on the front of the module to check out what it does, replaced it, paying special attention to the correct location of the 4 spade connectors, and checked out all the connections from the el200D end of the connectors...

I have exactly the same problem as described by the various posters here with a Miele W827. I found that the fuse described was indeed blown, and the reverse direction relay not switching reliably. So I replaced both, reassembled, turned on ready to receive adoring congratulations from the wife...

I need to seal bottom of tiles to a plastic shower tray. I was on the point of doing so with Dow Corning 785 and noticed that on the list of stuff it sticks, plastic is not there. On looking at one of Dow Corning Datasheets it suggested an adhesion test for plastic substrates, which I have done...

I contacted the manufacturer, Barber Wilsons. They have improved the design of this so that the spout is on a wall plate mounting instead of being supported by the supply pipes. Also, instead of screw in, it now pushes on to a spigot with o-rings and fixed with grub screw -- really nicely done...

Thanks for that Richard. Do you bed the reinforcing tape into tile adhesive on the surface of the boards? Any particular type of tile adhesive that should be used -- a recommended brand/type would be great if you can. Finally -- what do you use at corners between walls and wall to floor...

Having posted on choice of board for stud wall behind bath, I am now convinced to use Knauf Aquapanel. The threaded piece of tap filler is 38mm long (diagram at link below). I'll have 12.5 mm tile/adhesive + 12.5 mm board + 12 mm backnut, total 37 mm, which leaves no thread left to get the BSP...

The threaded section is part of the body of the filler spout, fixed tight in, not removable.
