Kitchen Light failure - 5 G4 under cabinet fitting

I have a run of 5 lights which is run by a 240v-12V transformer with Halogen 20W bulbs. I recently replaced 2 of these with LED bulbs (but I don't know the wattage). Everything has now failed. I've checked the 240 supply to the transformer and that's OK so I'm guessing the transformer is dead...

High Level Cistern - siphon replacement

My apologies for not getting back and thanking you for your input before now. I've decided to totally replace the whole thing - everything except the actual toilet pan. In the long run it'll be more efficient. Thanks again.

High Level Cistern - siphon replacement

I have a Shire (plastic?) high level cistern and the (old) siphon is starting to fail. I know it only needs a diaphragm but taking it off to do that and replacing it is a bit of a pain because it's joined to a lead downpipe. My thought is to do it once only and replace it either with a siphon...

    'Globe' head nails

I can see where you are coming from - but they still have flat ends.

    'Globe' head nails

Those are about the closest so far! The washer may not be a problem as I don't want to drive them very far into the wood.

    'Globe' head nails

Good try - but those are large tops with a flat underside and that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid :(

    'Globe' head nails

Thanks for the input - but still not successful :( No - I want 'spherical' or preferably upside down pear shape - but thanks for the suggestion. Close -ish - but those heads aren't rounded and I really want something like a chrome or similar shiny metal finish. If this...

    'Globe' head nails

Tried that - all the images show pins with flat heads.

    'Globe' head nails

I can't think of any other way to describe this... I'm looking for some nails, for decorative purposes, on which the head would best be described as an upside down pear. If your other half uses dressmaking pins she'll probably have something similar as a pin - but I need something sturdier...

    Drilling into concrete floor (driveway)

I've just had a kennel block installed onto a new base. The guy fixed the metal panels to the concrete using a normal hammer drill to drill the holes and then embedded some bolts into the holes with some sort of fixer which came from individual sachets. I think they were Hilti but I've no idea...

    Drilling into concrete floor (driveway)

Excuse the ignorance - what's an SDS drill?

    Drilling into concrete floor (driveway)

I have a carport which is showing signs of age and the supports need to be replaced. The 'easiest' way for me to do this is to resupport the canopy on 6 2.4m fence posts. I need to attach the fence posts to the ground, which is a concrete driveway laid many years ago. There's a very high...
