I can't think of any other way to describe this...

I'm looking for some nails, for decorative purposes, on which the head would best be described as an upside down pear. If your other half uses dressmaking pins she'll probably have something similar as a pin - but I need something sturdier. The nails are about 1" in length and smooth. I know they exist - I had some but I can't remember where they came from.

I'm sure there is a name for them - and a supplier somewhere - but I don't know what the name is or where I might get them.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks

No - I want 'spherical' or preferably upside down pear shape - but thanks for the suggestion.

How about these? 5th row down, centre column.

Close -ish - but those heads aren't rounded and I really want something like a chrome or similar shiny metal finish.

If this works - there's an image here

which isn't all that good but gives the flavour.
