Hi, yes alive done that but will try again. My problem is I have Tado smart valves on most rads (not the noisy one). This means at least one has to be on to call for heating at the boiler.
Hi all, I have recently had a radiator replaced which obviously required a system drain.
Since then a different radiator in the hall is making incredibly loud noises when the heating comes on. It sounds like gurgling and clicking indicative of air in the rad. However, I have bled all rads...
Hi all, is it absolutely necessary to find the order rads are on the system in aid to balance them effectively? I have no idea where my radiators are with respect to 1 through 10 and have tried the running around and touching method with little success!
Is it acceptable just to check flow and...
Thanks a lot. I have not bought the tado yet as I wanted to know how feasible it was to swap. I expect I'll get the kit for install in the spring. Did you notice wher the install guy trapped the wire on the terminal box!
Hi all, I want to move from nest to tado but can't find anything to help me swap the heatlink wirering to the tado EK. I also need help with jumper position. Has anyone done this and able to share diagram. Thanks in advance.
So I've had a crack at balancing and to be fair failed... I find it impossible to identify to 1st, 2nd, 3rd rad etc rad in my system. So just for "fun" I turned up the heating and checked pipe temp on TRVs and lockshields on each. The results in this unscientific test surprised me:
On most rads...
I believe I would need the room stat in the hall maybe. There is a trv in the lounge thst could be changed. Currently withe the nest in the lounge i am confused whether to use the TRV in the lounge full on and all others set to room temp. Or set lounge TRV lower. If I do that room will reach...
Yes I get that, but the drayton looks more suited to my needs. Nest seems to lag innovation here compared to the USA. Not room sensors for example which would have maybe solved the problem I have. Only pain is nest not having std back plate on heat link. Thanks for your response.
