I installed a 9m x 6m composite decking in my garden. When I installed 18 months ago the expansion gaps were 3mm and perfect. Now they are all uneven (see pic). What should i do to fix this to ensure it doesn't happen again?

Laid a composite deck in my back garden 9m x 4m. However now the gaps are all uneven! They were even to start with and will expansion they are all uneven now.

Looking to get an internal wall removed in my kitchen. This wall runs parallel to my joists. When i took off the frame I noticed that there is OSB under the plasterboard. Why is this? Kitchen cabinets on the other side of the wall so is this likely why?

So i had to cut a few hatches in my tongue and groove chipboard flooring, for my new kitchen for plumbers and electricians to get access.
However when avoiding the nails there are some that dont rest on the joist. Is it ok to "daughter" the joist to support the new hatches?

Just installed my composite decking but i am just about to fit the siders and the trim. Fitted the board with the plastic hidden clips.
1. How would you attach the trim? Glue or screws? Screw into the frame or the actual composite board?

For anyone that has installed composite decking... What expansion gaps do you leave and does it depend on what temperature you are installing them in on that day?
well i thought because it was solid and i cant put posts into the ground as its massive rocks underneath rather than soil. I am unable to dig down to install the posts...
I need to attached my ground level timber frame for decking to a sloped wall. How would i do this without making contact and the timber rotting from the rain?
