I've just spoken to building control and they've said that if the rain Water from my house goes into the mains sewer then the rain water from my new extension can do the same.

Thanks for the reply woody,the plasterer hasn't put in a price for the rendering he has just mentioned that sand and cement render would be much cheaper.He is qualified in krender and I think he is just giving me an alternative method and trying to save me a few quid.

Hi there I'm just having an extension built and was wondering if the rain Water from the extension and original building can go into the mains sewer or not,I thought I'd ask on here before asking building control.I would rather go into the mains sewer than dig a soakaway. Thanks for any replies.

I tried the fan this morning and all is working as it should.maybe because it's a 30 min max it needed time to work through it's timer so to speak.thanks for your input. Simon

I'm pretty sure none have become disconnected but I will check in the morning.
