Where to buy bathroom suite (ed.)

If the goods are damaged when you receive them then simply rules apply and most German retailers I have ever had dealings with accept the return and provide you with the shipping label to return the goods for replacement, as happened to me. It is a legal requirement as a consumer that they do...

We are currently undertaking to replace the lead pipe in our house, it has been approved so they are coming to mole next week and then approve the replacement the week after.... However, I wanted to get some opinion/advice from people. I have seen lots of information on suspended floor...

Where to buy bathroom suite (ed.)

We replaced our bathroom, depends what you want and what your budget is. We wanted a Villeroy and Boch quaryl bath but this was too expensive here some stupid £1000 for a bath, we ended up ordering it from Germany including the deliver came to £350. If you want a new shower I would recommend...

    Bathroom tile removal issue...

I'll try and get something flat and long, I was also thinking of using a glazing/glass suction pad to hold on to the tile as they are very thick and heavy. I am not sure why they dot/dabbed them, but the problem I can only assume that because they are not bedded correctly it is causing them to...

They are loose at one end but right at the other that is accessible. I was also worried if they would all fall off and where is best to start?

    Bathroom tile removal issue...

We recently had some bathroom tiles installed, needless to say I was not happy with the outcome and stopped the work. The problem is that they installed them via dot-dab on the wall, it was not a great outcome. The tiles have started to come away at the far end you can hear if push that they...

    Repairing around newly installed windows...

Thanks, they are complete flat and square they were pocket holed into the windows to hide any screw fittings and are neatly installed. It is complete flat too. I will mix some NHL with sand and fill it in as I have 30 bags left :) I can always finish it off with a bit of Easi-Fill to level it...

    Repairing around newly installed windows...

We have recently installed some new sash windows and the reveal lining has been attached. I have not ordered or placed the architrave around the window but the intention is to do so. Currently it was foamed but there is some deep areas, is it ok to use Gyproc filler or better to NHL 3.5 then...

    Uneven wall to batten

    - will that cause any issue being NHL mix and the tanking that has taken place in the corner with the Ardex? - It is an option if it is cost effective It was smoothed off with a float, there are some rough patches still around the wet room shower area, but pretty smooth overall. - No, the...

    Uneven wall to batten

The reveals around the window are screwed in via pocket hole screws, I can/will remove them to allow me to replace them with larger ones I can order from the supplier (they can make new custom ones at negligible cost). You are correct I want to marry to the iBox because it will make it all...

    Uneven wall to batten

Both iBox units are installed and plumbed in, they function and have been tested. All the wall requires is tiling with the installation of the remaining shower fittings. The bath you see in the images is not fixed in place just sat to it can be used.

    Uneven wall to batten

We have a small problem with a bathroom wall during this renovation that we are doing. The wall in question has had a coat of 'render' lime (NHL 3.5 with Sharpe sand) but was not scratched up for the second coat, instead someone smoothed it down. On this wall the shower will be installed...

We have some wet room glass 12mm 2200x1250 to be installed, the original suggestion was to use a U-channel - http://www.crlaurence.com/crlapps/showline/offerpage.aspx?ProductID=155679&GroupID=62151&History=39325:22043:7146:14894:14906:14894&ModelID=62151&pom=0 to install the glass on the...

    Guttering replacement and overhang

I wasn't implying that the roof material should come forward, more that this should be replaced with something else over the top. Attached it an idea that I received from the manufacture. I was just thinking of the zinc extension from the roof to the gutter (although they have drawn box...
