I think I might have confused my levels and areas when explaining it! It is set up exactly as Handymanjo says - A is the whole house and B is bedtime setting with all downstairs on & upstairs off. The screen confirms these options when I set it for either. It works anyway and hallway PIR does...

Well it seems to be working OK. I would never set area A on it's own anyway as that's upstairs. It's going to be set either to B (just downstairs) or A&B (full set)

Hi again Good news! I've sorted it. Took the PIR from area A/B to just B and now when I come downstairs it starts the timer beep :) Tested everything a few times and so far, so good I think. Thanks very much for all your help on this - such a relief to finally get it sorted.(y)

Morning all. OK so some real progress now - night setting & full set now works fine for both users with either codes or tags which is great. However, hall PIR still doesn't pick anyone up coming downstairs when in Night Set mode (it sees/registers them - i.e flashes blue etc but doesn't trigger...

Hi. Thanks for that - I'll try these in the morning (don't want to upset the neighbours if it goes off now!!) I can't recall if hall PIR is in AB or not so that'll be first thing to check. I assume it should be then? It's a brand new sensor - the whole system is brand new and yes it works fine...

Right - made some progress! Flexi set wasn't set up properly. I didn't realise that when you set up a tag with the same name as a user, it was actually two separate users (if that makes sense? I thought it combined them). :cry: I'd enabled both tags as flexi set but not the users with the same...

Understood - it's NOT level set then now - it's in areas.

Level Set wasn't enabled when I checked. I enabled it but then if I put code in, it just went straight to Quick set of area A with no option to change anything. So I un-abled it again.

Definitely labelled correctly (I just whipped the cover off the main box and double checked the wiring!) I must admit I haven't checked Level Set - I'll take a look now (don't know what it means though!).

So, am I correct in thinking that the 2360 mentioned is a newer version of the 236 course, or is it entirely different (probably easier!). I can't find the 236 mentioned anywhere on the J.I.B site, so maybe all those years at college are wasted now!!

When I enrolled at college to do my 16th Ed last year, the lecturer asked what C&G quals I had. When I told him I had 236 Pts 1&2, his exact words were "Ah! A proper *!%£ing qualification, not this modern s**t they give out nowadays!" Says it all really! I assume that I can still call myself...
