No Im just having BG come over as BAXI wont have an engineer for me till Monday plus BG is a lot cheaper. Will definitely let you know what the outcome is and will DEFINITELY let you know what of the outcome from Trading Standards is with regards to the dodgy boiler company.
Thank you guys.....have called trading standards and citizens advice and they said they will take the matter up for me and try and get some of my money back for me.
Ive got BG coming out tomorrow so fingers crossed will have some kinda heating b4 the evening.

I am the lady with powermax boiler problem...im sure most of you have seen one or two of the posts that I have put up this week. Anyway, aftr being conned of 560 pounds for supposedly fixing a boiler that still does not work, I called them back and asked them to come back a do...
Still waiting on this dodgy company to come and sort my boiler out............and I actually found out that the boler is less than 3 years old so it shouldnt be giving any sort of major trouble.
The parts that they were replaced were a flow switch and he bought something for an interim fault on the control box they both cost 247.16 excluding vat. labour was 228 excl vat. now he is saying a new ignition lead may be needed. I really dont know what to do........ the burner is still...
Well this engineer claims that he has worked on many of these boilers in my development and knows how to work them inside out plus he is CORGI so i thought he would know what he is doing.
As a kinowledgeable engineer on this kind of boiler do you have any ideas on what may be wrong with it...
Do you mean the lock out light? Or the ch and hw lights? the heating and water lights are still the smae but the lick out light is a bit dull...what does that mean? :cry:
