I live in a 3 story house, to get hot water in my ensuite shower (top floor) i have to run the cold tap in the wash basin (in the same room).

Approx 12 months ago i painted my rendored (external) walls and have noticed that there is a brown stain appearing through the white paint around the corners near the window
I guess that this is from rusted angle bead.
Is there a product that can be painted over this to hold...

How should the wall now been finished:- does it require renovation plaster or should i go for a sand/cement mix

i'm in the process of wiring my extension
i intend to hide the scart cable that connects the plasma/lcd screen to dvd player/games console behind the plasterboard
my question is this:-
is a scart cable suffient or will i need a special hd cable as well?

I have had a look at the wall plates/connectors. They look smart on the wall but i understand that the cable is soldered to the terminals on the back - is this tricky and would it cause any poor quality issues?
I like the idea of hiding a cable but not sure the best way to finish...
