Hi Is there anyway I can change the default setting in a sky hd box. At the moment when you press the blue button for your favorites, it takes you back to the last channel you were watching. Can this be disabled so it does not take you back but starts from the channel you are watching. Thanks

Just an update. My wife switched the sky box on yesterday, it did exactly the same thing ie would not come on, so in frustration she hit the box with her hand and since then it has worked fine :D There must be something in that saying "if all else fails hit it"

Hi Our sky+ box seems to get stuck in standby mood. When we switch off, the red light comes on but when we try to switch on, the red light quickly flickers to green then goes back to red, we have to leave it a short time then press on and it works ok, it does default to the sky set up channel...

Comes in different wattage's, usually made from glass, that you change when they are worn out. Are the called BULBS or LAMPS :)

Am I correct in thinking this is a MK one, I believe it is rated at IP56 where the one from Maplins is rated IP66. Apart from it being MK is there another reason why I should get it

Years ago I had the same problem and a old boy told me to fork holes in the ring then mix up bicarbonate of soda, and using a watering can spray all over the ring. It worked for me. :o
