Block paving over a convex area

Thanks. That's good to know. Actually I was hoping to lay herringbone but I guess I should probably go for stretcher bond.

Block paving over a convex area

It would be sloping towards the house, or at least sloping towards the side access of the house.

Block paving over a convex area

Hi Guys, I've got a flat area I want to block pave in my garden but there is a slope up to this flat area which I want to pave too. I've seen paving on a slope where the slope is concave but I haven't seen any examples where the curve is convex. I've attached a diagram with dimensions in case...

Best way of insulating down into the eaves?

That's right guys. There is no felt. Does that mean ventilation isn't an issue here? Thanks, Tim.

Best way of insulating down into the eaves?

I was thinking maybe something like the pic below would work but I can't find them for sale in the UK. I think they call them eave baffles. Thanks, Tim.

Best way of insulating down into the eaves?

Thanks Catlad, I think that is what I will do in the longer term when I've got the money and can afford the disruption. Every room upstairs in the house would need to be cleared and we've only recently moved in, are more or less still living out of boxes and are adjusting to having twin boys to...

Must SW3000 celotex be rendered immediately?

Hi Guys, I'm having the solid side wall of my house (front and back have a cavity) covered in 50mm celotex and then the exterior rendered. Can the celotex be fixed to the exterior wall and left in situ for a few weeks before rendering? Or must it be rendered immediately? Cheers, Tim.

Self-piercing valve not working on water filter kit

Thanks Justin. I removed the valve and tried blowing through it and couldn't. So I took the valve apart, did it back up and it worked. I guess something was blocking it. Working fine now. Very pleased.

Self-piercing valve not working on water filter kit

Hi Guys, I tried fitting an under counter water filter kit (http://www.screwfix.com/p/water-filter-kit/14306). Got everything installed and then as the last step I tightened the self-piercing value which seemed to go ok. When I turned the water back on nothing is coming out of the water...
